Frequently Asked Questions about the Association:

Q: How old is Ambassadors and how many members?

A: Ambassadors was formed in July 7, 1997 but it was laid down in support Full Gospel Business Men Fellowship International (FGBMFI) and its new International Christian Business Network (ICBN) until it was dissolved in 1999. While the need was still very present, a handful of Business and Government Leaders have slowly built it with over 65,000 member's e-mail addresses within our database. The site you are seeing is the third website design to keep pace with technology. Our goal in all versions is to be truly international and deployed in 16 languages.

Q: Who can be a member?

A: Anyone over 16 years old is eligible for membership.

Q: Do I have to be in business or government to be a member?

A: It may be easier to define a King and a Priest. In simple terms, a Priest earns his/her income from offerings or tithes while a King does not earn his/her income from offerings or tithes. If you do not earn income from offerings or tithes, you can be a member.

Q: Why can't a Priest be a member?

A: Nowhere in the word of God did a Priest train a King to be a King or King train a Priest. This is important. If we are rising up Kings for the Kingdom, our youth must understand how to flow in the office of a King. Only a King can teach how to make payroll without taking an offering. Only a King can seek wisdom from God on how to govern his people.

Q: I feel Called of God; don't I have to be in the ministry?

A: The devil’s lie is to tell the people “God can only use people in the full time ministry.” As an example, we have two men filled with the Power of God. One owned a construction company, earned about $500,000/year and came into contact with about 300 workers over the course of a project. Ten years ago with a very nice war chest, he started a Church. To this date the church has never had 300 people in it, the war chest is gone and he and his family live on less that 10% of his old income. Another man was in ministry school ten years ago. He and his wife both worked, earning $30,000/yearly together. This man, also filled with the power of God, today owns a company and comes into contact with hundreds of homeowners per month. His wife no longer works but stays at home to raise their two teenage sons. While their average income for the past 3 years has been about $500,000/yearly, they found that they could live very well on much less than that. Rather than just giving 10% as a tithe, they have given over $200,000 to their own local Church per year and untold amounts in other gifts and offerings. Now our first man is in a noble position as a Pastor, but he could have been used more effectively for the Kingdom as a businessman who could minister to the 300 workers by his lifestyle. Our second man is a blessing to every one he is around. One cannot stop asking God to bless him more so he may be a greater blessing to everyone. Are we not all ministers?

Q: If a Priest cannot be a member, why should a Priest want to help Christ Ambassadors to create more kings?

A: Consider the second man mentioned above ten years ago, his tithe was $3,000 and today it is $200,000. Priests would certainly be blessed to have a few like that supporting the vision God had given them. Consider this story: A local Church started a building fund as the Church was formed. Every time a young person becomes of age to go to college and they wanted to, the Church paid for the schooling out of the building fund. Today, the young people are all Doctors, Lawyers and other professional type people with spouses and children are attending the Church from within the new $3 million building. If I had a ministry, I would do everything I could do to help my Kings to get into place so they could be a blessing to the ministries vision. God wants to get money to his ministers and Ambassadors will challenge anyone to find where God had a vision and did not call Kings to help fund it.

Q: Can you give us scripture to support Kings and Priests?

A: Yes, first do a study on Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel and read Zechariah chapter 3 and 4 in Zechariah 4:11-14. Here you will learn of two who are anointed to serve the Lord: Priests, Zechariah chapter 3 and Kings Zechariah 4.

Q: Can you support this in the New Testament?

A: Some say the Book of Matthew gives Joseph's line, while Luke gives Mary's. Other think the difference was between the royal line (that of Joseph) and the physical line that of (that of Mary). What is important is that Matthew 1:12 and Luke 3:27 both list Zerubbabel, the son of Shealtiel. This also shows that a King, a common carpenter, named Joseph raised Jesus but John the Baptist was raised by a Priest named Zechariah, John's Father.

Q: What can Joseph, the carpenter, teach us?

A: While Jesus, not a son by blood, was trained and raised to be what God had called Jesus to be, we should all have more respect for Stepfathers and Mentors since Jesus had one.
